Evenings on BBC Radio Lincolnshire

On 13 January 2021, I filled in for Karl Bird during the film segment of Ella Wydrzynska’s evening show, covering the release of Wonder Woman 1984 (2021) and discussing our top three superhero films of all time. You can listen to it on BBC Sounds here until 13 February 2021.

Woman’s Hour on BBC Radio Nottingham

On 29 August 2021, I was a guest on the Woman’s Hour on BBC Radio Nottingham for the topic ‘re-writing women’, hosted by Ella Wydrzynska and in discussion with Dr Robyn Muir. Here, I was able to discuss my research and experience as a writer in re-writing and re-contextualising mythical and historical women, and to talk with Dr Muir about her research into Disney princesses and the trend of modern, re-imagined fairy tales.
